Her campaign focuses include infrastructure, clean water, public school support, affordable childcare, protecting workers’ rights and safety and the development of data centers.

“The future of our state depends on our public schools having the resources they need to educate our children. Right now, West Virginia's public schools are facing a funding crisis. As enrollment continues to decline, special education costs rise, and more state dollars are diverted to the Hope Scholarship without meaningful limits, our public‑school systems are suffering.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection Survey)
“Education and Healthcare (including eldercare and mental health) are areas that I am most knowledgeable and passionate about. I am also passionate about social services, environmental protections, worker's rights, and building a strong economy.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection Survey)

“Lifelong Republican, not a Party switcher. Retired Combat Veteran Retired WVDOH. I am not accepting out of State or corporate donations and endorsements, only residents. I will not buy the title of Governor but will work for the office that I am seeking.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection Survey)
“Line item Vetoes would only be used in my Administration in the instance of the people not in agreement with myself or the Legislature. To conserve use for moral or ethical use when against the will of the people would be wrong and abuse of power.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection Survey)
“Diversity of regions, people, history of our emergence and formation of a State.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection Survey)
