“West Virginians deserve a more affordable West Virginia. The price of groceries is too expensive, the cost of living is too high, and the minimum wage is too low. Many West Virginians who live in border counties choose to work out-of-state so they can make more money than they would in West Virgina. The state government acts upon corporate and establishment interests while overlooking the needs and interests of working people. We need leaders who will put West Virginians first and Washington D.C. last.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection Survey)
“I am personally passionate about education policy, criminal justice reform, and a people-centered economy.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection Survey)
“Decriminalizing marijuana in West Virginia is long overdue. We must stop overflowing prison and jails with people caught with marijuana. The state must also fix the issue of understaffed prisons and jails across West Virginia.” (Colin Savage Campaign Website)
