“I am running for State Senate because I believe that the qualities and skills that have allowed me to be a great surgeon can be applied to the State Senate as well. Decisions grounded in faith, level-headedness with a steady hand under pressure, and an altruistic desire to serve the people around me will guide me to make the decisions that serve our neighbors well.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection Survey) “I will make healthcare more accessible and more affordable. With the arrival of the Rural Health Transformation Program funding, we face an unprecedented opportunity to support essential healthcare services and grow new pathways for offering high quality, affordable healthcare as close to home as possible. At the same time we must safeguard this windfall from ill-conceived ideas that jeopardize the longevity of that funding. My day to day life experience as a doctor caring for patients from all over Wyoming has given me a unique perspective on the needs required for our frontier and healthcare system to thrive.”
