All 5 counties · General election Tuesday, Nov 3, 2026
Hawaii has four county governments (Hawaii, Maui, Kauai and the City and County of Honolulu) plus Kalawao County, which has no elected government. County races are nonpartisan, and candidates who win a majority in the Aug. 8 primary are elected outright, so the Nov 3 ballot carries only the remaining county contests plus the State House and State Senate districts.
Candidates come from the Office of Elections' official 2026 Candidate Report, which covers federal, state and county offices in one list. Every voter in the state also votes on the Office of Hawaiian Affairs trustee races.
