All 14 counties · General election Tuesday, Nov 3, 2026
Massachusetts has 14 counties, and most of them no longer have county governments. Every county still has a district attorney and a register of probate on the 2026 ballot. A few counties also elect county commissioners or a county treasurer, and Franklin County is filling a sheriff vacancy. Barnstable County ballots also include Assembly of Delegates and county charter commission seats, by town.
Every page is copied from the Secretary of the Commonwealth's official candidate list. City and town government is run locally, and municipal elections are usually held on other dates, so those races are not listed.
