All 16 counties · General election Tuesday, Nov 3, 2026
Maine has 16 counties. County offices such as commissioners, sheriff, district attorney, judge and register of probate are on 2026 ballots in many counties, and many towns, school units and utility districts hold elections on Nov 3 as well.
Vote Book has not yet checked the Secretary of State's official candidate lists county by county, so these pages use Ballotpedia's county pages, labeled as a secondary source. Town and school races are run by each municipal clerk.
