Vote Book is built from official sources, one county at a time. This page shows what is posted so far and what we are still adding before Election Day, Nov 3, 2026.

State legislature races

46 of 46 states holding regular 2026 state legislative elections now have full district-by-district race pages posted (5,743 district race pages / 5,919 legislative seats across all 46 states holding regular 2026 legislative elections; Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, and Virginia hold their legislative elections in odd-numbered years: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming), with verified bios, official legislative links, campaign websites, and word-for-word candidate quotes.

Local races by state

Where a county or town is still being added, its page tells you so and links to your official voter lookup. Some local election offices have not published their sample ballots yet, or post them in a form we are still working through.

Candidate records still being reviewed

Of the 1959 federal and statewide candidates on Vote Book, we are still researching background information for 0 and still filling in issue positions (fewer than three topics so far) for 1295. Their pages show what we have so far.
